The development of the Leopard 2 began by Krauss-Maffei in the 70s, as a replacement and successor to the successful Leopard 1 in the Bundeswehr. Over the course of its production, the Leopard has been steadily improving, making it one of the most advanced battle tanks in the world, almost 40 years after its launch. In version 2A6, the revised 120mm L / 55 smoothbore gun from Rheinmetall is used for the first time, which has once again increased the fighting power of the Leopard 2.

 

As a model of the Torro Pro edition, the Leopard 2A6 is equipped with a metal under-sink including torsion bar suspension to which the metal rollers are attached. The upper tub can be opened by means of the well-known quick release, and provides quick access to the various RC components in the model. At the rear of the tub are hidden under flaps, the charging socket for external charging of the battery, as well as volume control, the switch for the smoke generator and the model. The leopard tower in the Pro edition is partially made of metal and houses the weft unit which is connected to the metal cannon tube. The metal driver's hatch on the upper trough is movable and at the rear round brass etching parts of the air cover off the optics. The finish of the leopard is rounded off by a prototypical camouflage finish in the airbrush process.
