The Panzerjäger Tiger (P) "Ferdinand", later "Elefant", (Sd.Kfz. 184) was a heavy tank destroyer of the Wehrmacht in World War II. As a defensive weapon, the combat value of the Ferdinands was very high; a single gun at Kursk was able to destroy 22 enemy tanks in one morning, which, because of the great distance, thought they were safe.
